In its early days,
Children of the Green Earth
Envisioned a worldwide network of tree-planting partners:
organizations planting trees with children. We imagined children in different countries communicating back and forth, exchanging ideas, and inspiring each other.

One organization that has taken up the Children of the Green Earth vision and expanded it to include many forms of community development is the Rajadighi Community Health Service Society (RCHSS) in West Bengal, India Read about their good work here.
Meanwhile, many other organizations devoted to tree planting and reforestation have flourished around the world – continuing the vision and work of Children of the Green Earth.

From 1980-1995 Children of the Green Earth initiated, fostered, and connected children’s tree planting efforts in schools, youth groups.
